Faithfull by Design was founded in 2018 by Alicia Ruhl. She started the ministry to fuse her passion for design with her hunger for helping people. Her inspired designs benefit those battling adversity, bringing awareness to their suffering and promoting help and healing.
Alicia’s talent and gifting—along with her compassion to help others—is the heart of this ministry. Each design comes to life as an expression of hope with every piece of jewelry, apparel and art. With your purchase of any of these pieces comes an opportunity for you to partner in helping people.
Faithfull by Design’s gorgeous Alcohol Ink metallic prints, apparel, home goods and stationery proceeds bless two local organizations that fight sex trafficking in Kansas City. FBD hosts various “Art & Awareness” opportunities including Film Screenings across the city, Ink Adventures (Painting Parties), and Book Studies over Zoom.
The Relentless Pursuit Outreach & Recovery (RPOR) Drop-In Center is a safe, non-judgmental place for prostituted women from all backgrounds and races. Open 4 days a week, the Relentless Pursuit team and volunteers provide hot meals, a safe place to rest, shower, receive free clothing and toiletries, medical attention, art therapy and legal services. On average, they serve over 45 women in a 5-hour period! They are also in the process of building an emergency 90-day housing development, The Mike Daniels Home, on the second-floor of their building on Independence Avenue.
ReHope (formerly Restoration House) is the second organization Faithfull by Design supports. They are a faith-based non-profit providing housing, treatment, and lifelong sustainment services for women AND children who are victims of human trafficking. This organization is making phenomenal strides in loving survivors through ReHope Farms, ReHope Youth Campus and ReHope Market social enterprise.
